It’s crazy to me I haven’t updated this thing in a year (no it’s not). I’ve had a whirlwind 365+ days; pivoting careers, moving, and putting my creativity into other outlets. I’m currently focused on pursuing a career in art education, an unknowingly intense passion of mine. Who knew I’d love being back in the classroom? It’s been a rewarding experience, and I can’t wait for the day to have my own group of students in my own classroom.
Until then, I share with you my other “creative outlets.” As a producer, I spent my time behind the camera, but over the last few years, I’ve been in front. I’ve taken part in several fun, sometimes silly, but always creative and wonderful projects. Behold, Uncle No Rules, from the creative mind of Richie Brown. I’ve had the privilege of knowing Brown since I was a young teenager and it’s been a blast to see him grow into such a talented and unusual artist. I’ve been a part of several of his projects over the years. His latest is Uncle No Rules, a half-hour long show for kids. (Maybe?) The show is hard to describe (I mean that lovingly), and I believe it’s best to just watch for yourself.
Take a gander at the video here and my segment here, where you can see me dancing in some green slime!
Cheers!
